Dracoteuthis, found on Aberration, Extinction, Valguero, and in the future, other maps, is a large, dragon-like relative of the Seeker. It is breedable and rideable.

The Dracoteuthis can drain Charge Light from most sources, powering itself and fueling its abilities. Dracoteuthis is only capable of limited flight, which drains both Charge and Stamina from the creature. It is slow-moving compared to other endgame Aberration creatures such as the Rock Drake, and combat oriented.

Dracoteuthis is tamed by placing Charge Lanterns on the ground and allowing it to drain 3 of them, which destroys the lantern in the process. Once 3 Charge Lanterns have been destroyed, it will become relaxed and sit down, allowing the player to walk up and feed it a Plant Species Z fruit.

When tamed, the Dracoteuthis can absorb charge light from creatures that emit it (including those with the Illuminating trait). While under the effects of charge (within range of something actively emitting charge), it gains increased armor and its melee attacks do increased damage, and regains 5% of its health per second at a max of 50hp/sec.

A new item has been added: Portable Battery Charger. It will drain Element/Shards/Dust from the same inventory it is in while "active", and will charge any batteries in the same inventory.

Right Click - Grab / Release (Cannot run on land while carrying something)

C - Toggle Charge Drain On/Off

Ctrl+Left Click - Projectile (Drains Charge)

Ctrl+Right Click - Drain 10% Charge from rider's shoulder pet

Ctrl+C - Roar

DracoteuthisFlightChargeDrainAmount=50 \ 50 is default, set to whatever. Controls how much Charge is drained per second when flying.

DracoteuthisAllowNoChargeFlight=True \ Allows flight regardless of Charge amount, and Charge will not drain when flying.

DracoteuthisPreventProjectileDamageScaling=True \ Prevents the projectile from scaling with dino damage.

DracoteuthisChargedMaxHealthGainPerSecond=50 \ Max amount of health the Dracoteuthis can regain per second from standnig within charge light or being charged.

DracoteuthisTamingChargeLanternsUntilPassive=3 \ The amount of Charge Lanterns one needs to have a wild Dracoteuthis destroy before it will become passive and sit down.

DracoteuthisPreventGliding=True \ Prevents gliding on all maps

DracoteuthisAllowGlidingOnAberration=True \ Allows gliding on Aberration, where it normally cannot glide

DracoteuthisExtraEggRespawnTime=(time) \ Time in seconds for easter eggs on Ragnarok and Valguero to respawn
