Description

This mod adds a button to the inventory map that can be used to toggle the Dino Finder on and off. In the Dino Finder, the dinosaurs can be filtered by species, gender, age and level. When using the search function, markers are created for the 20(Depends on MarkerLimit) dinos with the highest level. When you click on one of the markers on the map, the corresponding dino is tracked. If the Dino Finder does not appear in your inventory map, you can spawn it using the command cheat summon DinoFinderManager.

Requirements

For the mod to work properly in singleplayer, -preventHibernation is required as a start argument. Unfortunately, this does not work for consoles. To activate preventHibernation on consoles also use this mod: https://www.curseforge.com/ark-survival-ascended/mods/prevent-hibernation.

Setting Name	Default Value	Description
IsAdminOnly	False	If set to True, only admins will be able to use the mod.
RestrictAdmins	True	If set to False, admins will not be affected by UnlockLevel, UnlockEngram, ScanCooldown, ScanRange, LevelFilterBound, or any of the Disable settings.
UnlockLevel	0	Sets the level the player needs to have in order to unlock the Finder.
UnlockEngram		Specifies the engram the player must unlock to access the Finder. To configure this, you must provide the blueprint path. E.g. `UnlockEngram=` `Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/CoreBlueprints/Items/Armor/Tek/` `PrimalItemArmor_TekHelmet.PrimalItemArmor_TekHelmet'`
MarkerLimit	20	Defines the maximum number of markers per search. If multiple species are selected, the marker limit is divided by the number of selected species, but each species will have at least one marker.
ScanCooldown	0	Sets the cooldown time (in seconds) before you can use the Finder again. This cooldown will reset on server restart.
ScanRange	-1	Defines the maximum scan range in meters.
DefaultMinLevel	1	Sets the default value for the minimum level filter.
DefaultMaxLevel	150	Sets the default value for the maximum level filter.
LevelFilterBound	2147483647	Specifies the maximum creature level that a player can search for.
DisableLevelFilter	False	If set to True, the level filter will be disabled.
DisableGenderFilter	False	If set to True, the gender filter will be disabled, and the gender will no longer be displayed on the map.
DisableAgeFilter	False	If set to True, the age filter will be disabled, and the age will no longer be displayed on the map.
DisableLevelOnMap	False	If set to True, the creature's level will no longer be displayed on the map.
DisableDinoStats	False	If set to True, the dino's stats will not appear as a tooltip when hovering over a marker.
DisableTracking	False	If set to True, the marker will remain static and will not track the creature's movements.
DisableTraitSearching	False	If set to True, trait searching will be disabled. However, traits will still be visible on the map.
DisableTraitOnMap	False	If set to True, the trait of a dino is not shown on the map.
DisableSearching	False	If set to True, the Finder will only display the dino list.
Blacklist		Defines the species that will not appear in the Dino Finder, even for unrestricted admins. To configure the blacklist, use the creature Entity IDs (https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Creature_IDs) separated by commas. Whitespace will be ignored, but all entries must be on a single line. E.g. `Blacklist=Gigant_Character_BP_C, Carcha_Character_BP_C`
PlayerWhitelist		Defines the players that can use the Dino Finder. To configure the whitelist, use the player's EOS ID separeted by commas. Whitespace will be ignored, but all entries must be on a single line. E.g. `PlayerWhitelist=123`
DisableVariantFilter	False	If set to True, the variants tab of the finder will be disabled. Only relevant for mods that add dino variants.
DisableVariantName	False	If set to True, only the default dino name is shown on the map.
