This mod enables crossplay proximity voice chat in ARK: Survival Ascended by integrating TeamSpeak with a SaltyChat positional voice system. It allows PC and console players to communicate through realistic proximity voice outside of ARK’s native voice chat. The mod runs entirely on the client and only transmits positional and state data; all voice processing is handled by TeamSpeak.

This mod is made specifically for Game of Thrones Roleplay and World of Westeros Roleplay servers.

Console players must run TeamSpeak on a secondary device and route both ARK audio and TeamSpeak audio into the same headset. Follow the setup for your platform below.

PlayStation 5 Setup

Run TeamSpeak on a PC, laptop, or mobile device
Plug your headset into the PC, not the PS5
Connect PS5 audio to the PC using one of the following:
HDMI capture card with audio passthrough
3.5mm cable from DualSense controller to PC line-in
USB audio interface with line-in support

On the PC:

Open Sound Settings → Recording
Enable “Listen to this device” on the PS5 audio input
Set the headset as the playback device

In TeamSpeak:

Set the same headset as output Configure push-to-talk
Disable ARK native voice chat on PS5

Result: PS5 game audio and TeamSpeak proximity voice are heard through the same headset.

Xbox Series X|S Setup

Run TeamSpeak on a PC, laptop, or mobile device
Plug your headset into the PC, not the Xbox
Connect Xbox audio to the PC using one of the following:
HDMI capture card
Xbox controller 3.5mm audio → PC line-in
USB audio interface with line-in

On the PC:

Enable audio monitoring / listen mode for the Xbox input
Output to the same headset used by TeamSpeak

In TeamSpeak:

Select that headset for output
Configure push-to-talk
Disable ARK native voice chat on Xbox

Result: Xbox game audio and TeamSpeak proximity voice are mixed into one audio source.
