Commissioned by DigitalDash for Arcane Realms

This mod overhauls in-game chat with a deeper, more immersive system. It introduces configurable and learnable languages so admins can manage who understands them, plus adjustable chat volumes that control how far speech carries in the world. Chat messages are organized into distinct channels, keeping local, group and global conversations cleanly separated.

Admin customizable list of chat languages
Separated chat channels(local vs global, etc)
Press \ to open chat persistently
Press tab to cycle current chat channel, when chat is FULLY opened
Chat volumes are indicated by their range, which is in foundations traveled

Config Details

BaseMessageRange: Range in unreal units. 1 foundation is 300 units.
MaxMessagesBeforePruning: The amount of messages per channel that are stored before old ones are removed.
MaxMessageLength: Max character length for a message.
ChatCooldownSeconds: Time between messages.

Notes

Replaces the vanilla chat box.
Completely incompatible with c++ plugins that utilize slash(/) commands.
Languages can be unlocked on each player by admins via their radial menu
The default chat system is disabled
Console players can NOT use the vanilla means to access the chat menu. You must use the radial wheel for Roleplayer Upgrade section to access the appropriate chat channel
