What is this mod ?

This mod ports the shipbuilding from arks pirate sister game, Atlas, to ASA! But instead of adding seafaring vessels it's airships!

Current content

Modular airship building

Construct the frame of a ship in shipyard and begin building!

Fill the ribbing with planks
Place a deck and fill it with ceilings wherever you like (Optional)
Place a steering wheel somewhere on the ship (Optional, but you won't be able to steer the ship without one)
Once every necessary step is done, release your ship from the shipyard and sail the sky!

Ship structure set

The wooden ship structure set was also ported from Atlas and adjusted for ASA! Unlike Atlas it is a separate structure set and can be used everywhere, not only on ships. Also comes with their special functionality: If on an airship, any ship structure (ship walls, ship ceilings etc.) allows you to access the ships inventory and options as if you were interacting with the vehicle itself.

Building kits

Building kits are a replacement for the different (small, medium & large) plank/deck items from Atlas:
Craft one or more of the item, the placed structure will adjust based on the ship it's getting attached to.
Bigger sizes consume more items when placing the structure (additional items/resources are returned when picking up/demolishing structure). For example, placing a plank on a sloop will cost 1 item as usual, but placing a plank on a schooner will require and use up 2 items.

Note: Using creative mode will disable this mechanic, allowing you to place all sizes with 1 item, as with regular structures.

Known Issues

All structures on a ship despawning after loading a save -> This bug is a basegame bug that can also happen to things like structures on rafts. Until wildcard fixes it, you can get your structures back by riding + dismounting a dino close to the ship or by going out of render distance
Walking into a steering wheel on servers might glitch the players character around a bit, this is purely visual
Missing zeppelin textures (not a bug, i still need to make them)
Structures from the mod not showing damage, weather effects or paint
Airship propeller sounds only works the first time you move
